This is the first Boeing commercial demonstration flight at an air show in 28 years. The items of note are these – the airplane is incredibly quiet and the 787 wing is a thing of beauty. One can expect that the 787 to be be a “good neighbor” airplane wherever it flies. Its small noise footprint is remarkable. This could become the benchmark. Many of the people we were standing next to us remarked at how quiet the airplane is.
