Pieter Elbers – IndiGo is stretching its wings

IndiGo is now expanding and stretching its wings as it looks to fly not only to more new international destinations but also to connect more Indian cities to international destinations.

“We are expanding to different cities. If Singapore Airlines can fly to more than ten destinations in India, why should we limit ourselves as an Indian carrier to only fly from one destination in India to Singapore? We now fly to (from) seven (cities in India),” says CEO Pieter Elbers. He spoke on Monday evening during a select media interaction, for which AirInsight was invited. This comes a few days after the carrier reported a profit for Q2 of its FY24.
