Turkish Airlines has reached an agreement with lessor AerCap to lease 25 Boeing MAX 8s and three 787-9s for delivery between 2024 and 2026. Turkish has also extended the lease for six Airbus A330-200s that are already in its fleet.
The agreement was announced by the airline on Monday and confirmed by AerCap on Tuesday. Turkish says in a public disclosure that the agreement is in line with “the framework of our growth strategy”.
