Gulfstream is celebrating double 100 milestones for its flagship G700 ultra long-range business jet. The first milestone is the 100th customer delivery of the new aircraft, which was certified in April, 2024 and achieved its 100th delivery in just over two years, an impressive total for the aircraft with a list price of $80 million.
Company President Mark Burns commented on the delivery milestone, stating ““The G700 has once again set a new benchmark, firmly establishing itself as the business aviation industry flagship. As deliveries have increased, so has customer demand. Thanks to the investments Gulfstream and our parent company, General Dynamics, have made in next?generation manufacturing technology and facilities, the G700 quality and maturity are second to none. I am incredibly proud of the Gulfstream team, whose dedication and expertise continues to create and deliver the world’s finest aviation experience.”

Start My Test Flight →The second 100 is an impressive set of city-pair speed records, which is likely to grow in the near future. The 100th speed record connected Savannah, Georgia with San Jose, California, completing the flight in four hours and 36 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.91. The aircraft then flew from San Jose to Teterboro, NJ in four hours and 14 minutes, also at Mach 0.91.
Today, more than 700 pilots have already been trained for the G700, which has been certified in 20 countries and is in service around the world. The aircraft has become a market leader in the ultra long-range business jet segment in which it competes with the Bombardier Global 8000 and forthcoming Dassault Falcon 10X at the top of the purpose built business jet market.
The Bottom Line
With 100 deliveries in a little over two years, Gulfstream has continued the market success of the G650ER with its replacement, the G700. The aircraft is selling quite well in the marketplace, as the three purpose-built business jet OEMs compete at the top end of the market. We congratulate Gulfstream on its double 100 milestones with the G700.
