Air France-KLM’s net income fell 71% year over year in 2Q26, to €190 million from €649 million. Revenue rose 9.9% to €9.28 billion. Adjusted operating profit came in at €484 million — down from €736 million a year ago, but nearly 50% above the €327 million analysts had expected.
The fuel story is by now a familiar one this earnings season: a full-year 2026 fuel bill estimated at $8.9 billion, up $2.0 billion year over year, even after $1.6 billion in hedging gains. Same input, same direction, same headline shape you’ve seen at American and JetBlue.
