At Airbus Innovation Days Air Asia were a surprise visit. They came to pick up their newest airplane. This was a warm exchange between Airbus and Air Asia. There was genuine warmth and a clearly deep relationship.

Airbus today reminds me of Boeing thirty years ago, and I see Louis Gallois as a figure reminiscent of Bill Allen. As for Tony Fernandes who could pass for a modern version of Juan Trippe.
