Our first chat with Thomas Jaeger, Founder & CEO of Swiss-based ch-Aviation. We started off talking about the Russian airline fleet that was clearly caught unaware of and unprepared for the Ukraine invasion and the rapid and severe sanctions reaction. We also covered the “stuck” fleet inside Ukraine and the rapid rise in fuel prices. The airline industry has barely recovered from the Covid-shock and here we are with an even greater shock.
