Gary Scott provided the following update at EBACE today. His presentation was what many of the media people had come for. While there was much focus on the CSeries, note the great news regarding the CRJ1000. After six months the two operators are reporting 4% better fuel burn and 6% better range. These are big numbers – consider how excited everyone got when winglets delivered 5% fuel burn improvement.

We had a chance to meet with Mr Scott to speak about the 30 customer airlines’ input on CSeries and see if his experience at Boeing showed him this approach works.
