On the sidelines of the 2021 Dubai Airshow, AirInsight talks to three of the region’s low-cost airlines on the recovery from the Covid-crisis, the market situation, their strategy, and fleet plans. In the fourth and final interview, we talk to Kees van Schaik, the Dutch Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. The subsidiary of Wizz Air Hungary got off to a slow start because of the pandemic and travel restrictions in Abu Dhabi but is now is on an expansion course.
