That quality escape thing rears its ugly head again. But it appears to be a minor issue caused by an internal problem. The news of the quality escape drowns out the excellent news that Boeing is delivering faster Airbus.

What Happened
Boeing

disclosed the issue on March 10, describing it this way: “Our 737 programme is performing rework on a group of airplanes to fix wires that have small scratches due to a machining error. This ensures they meet our quality standards before the airplanes are delivered.” The machining error originated at Boeing’s own Renton, Washington, facility — not a third-party supplier.
