Following the recent appointment of Christian Scherer as CEO of Airbus Commercial Aircraft, the European airframer has announced further changes to streamline leadership and shift priorities. Guillaume Faury will continue as group CEO, but he will focus on strategy and business transformation.
Airbus outlined the new leadership team from January 1 today. With Faury no longer directly responsible for Commercial Aircraft, this role will be taken up by Scherer, who has been Chief Commercial Officer.
