Archer Aviation is working hard to grow new markets for its Midnight four-seater eVTOL. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with InterGlobe, the parent company of IndiGo, to introduce the Midnight to India. This follows just weeks after Archer signed a collaboration agreement in Abu Dhabi. Coming Monday, new announcements for Dubai are expected at the Dubai Airshow.

The agreement with InterGlobe Enterprises is to include partnerships with other Indian companies to operate up to 200 Midnights and finance and build vertiport infrastructure. The training of pilots and other personnel is also included. The eVTOL could operate on routes such as Connaught Place to Gurugram in Delhi. This trip typically takes 60 to 90 minutes by car but is possible in approximately seven minutes using the Midnight.
