The market continues to soften, as shown in this chart.

A longtail impact is playing out: a crucial shortage of skilled people across the industry hurts new deliveries and re-deliveries.  Operators have to hold on to what they have and make it work. MRO challenges abound.

The recovery was excellent, but it may be running out of steam.  The recent spate of new delivery delays among US airlines may be symptomatic.
