We had a discussion with Peter Lemme, a former Boeing flight control engineer. Peter is now a satellite communications engineer and has an excellent blog where you can delve into his reviews and analyses on the two MAX crashes.
Reading it you may come to the conclusion that his views are among the most useful published anywhere. But perhaps the best reason you want to get his views is that he has been subpoenaed by a grand jury on the MAX investigation. Peter also discusses the FAA’s updates on the MAX. In this, he describes flight deck changes Boeing made between the Classic and NG models that changed again on the MAX. He asks the obvious questions and it is readily clear that these changes warrant explanation. Really interesting insight.
In summary, what you have here is an acknowledged expert. What Peter has to say is rich in experience and well thought out. You may want to listen carefully.
