As already indicated in August, Cathay Pacific has exercised options for 32 AirbusA320neo family aircraft. The airline and airframer confirmed the order today, one day before the purchase rights were to expire on September 30.
The purchase rights were part of a previous firm order with Airbus for 32 A321neo’s that was signed on September 13, 2017. The new order includes both the A320neo and A321neo, but Cathay hasn’t specified how many it will purchase from each model.
