DB1B Updated for 2023

The DoT updated their DB1B datasets through year-end 2023.  Here is our updated model for the Market dataset.

This model draws on ~1Gb data, so please be patient while it loads and runs. Remember to optimize viewing using the double-head arrow at the bottom right.

There are four pages.

1. The first page lets you select an origin and see the top 20 destinations. The third chart shows the price per mile to the top 30 destinations.
2. The second page lets you select airline type and enter an origin US airport. You can also click the play button to see the model mover over the period. Click any ball to see what that particular airline did over the period. Doing this shows fares rose sharply in 2023.
3. The third page shows a traffic chart – enter a US airport code to see that market’s traffic.
4. The fourth page lets you select an airline and see its performance.
