Roberto Chavez VP Procurement and Arjan Meijer, President Commercial Aviation talk about Embraer’s good 2024 YTD and how they plan to level the rate cycle by better supply chain management. The company is not yet at maximum rate, but getting close enough that they need to start thinking and planning for more capacity.
Fortunately Embraer has an unusually high proportion of its supply chain in-house, and the company is placing its own people with suppliers to de-risk the flow. This effort is further supported by supplier visits even by Francisco Gomez Neto, Embraer’s president and other senior company leaders.
