One IAG carrier will replace another as the launch customer for the A321XLR, with Iberia now replacing Aer Lingus.  With an on-going dispute with pilots, Aer Lingus will defer its deliveries of the latest Airbus model.

Iberia CEO Marco Sansavini confirmed that IAG has reallocated the delivery positions to Iberia after Aer Lingus pilot negotiations hit a snag.  Iberia will utilize the aircraft on non-stop transatlantic routes between Madrid and Boston and Madrid and Washington Dulles.
