KLM has signed a letter of intent to purchase 15 E195-E2 aircraft, with options for an additional 20. These aircraft would be utilized in Cittyhopper operations in Europe. First deliveries are expected in 2021.
This is an important order for Embraer’s commercial product line, which is in the process of being acquired by Boeing, and provides an important addition to its backlog for the largest model in the E2 Jet family.
