LATAM Airlines Group took delivery of its first Airbus A321neo leased from AerCap this week. It also placed an order for 13 Additional A321neo, which will further help the company expand its route network and drive its regional growth, said Airbus in a statement.

Ordering new planes

On October 2, Airbus announced LATAM Airlines had placed an order for 13 additional A321neo aircraft. In total, the South American company has 111 A320 family aircraft to be delivered, including a committed backlog of 76 A321neo aircraft. This order includes several A321XLRs.
