Its been some time since we last shared this data model. Using the US DOT’s T-2 dataset, we developed this simple model that provides a glimpse into the industry’s airlines and how they perform operationally. The data is current through 1Q26.
There are 5 pages, three of which have menus that allow you drill into the data to uncover details. As the industry consolidates, fleets evolve and the KPIs start to fluctuate. There are some data gems to discover. Don’t be surprised if this eats up your afternoon. The idea is to get you thinking and asking questions.
