Since every COMAC aircraft purchased is one Airbus or Boeing aircraft that is not purchased, the competitive threat has become both real and imminent.

Air Asia discussions are serious

Tony Fernandes, CEO of Air Asia and its parent company Capital A, confirmed discussions between Air Asia and COMAC. “We’re in active discussions. I can confirm that,” said Fernandes in a recent news interview.
