AirAsia Upsizes A320neo Orders to A321neo

AirAsia announced at the Paris Air Show that it is upsizing its Airbus single-aisle fleet, converting 253 orders for A320neos to A321neos.  The change will enable the airline to offer additional capacity in response to ongoing strong demand across its network.

AirAsia has ordered 592 single-aisle aircraft from Airbus, with a backlog that now includes 353 A321neos.  To date, the airlines has taken delivery of 224 A320 family aircraft.
