When Airbus reported 1Q26 results this week, CEO Guillaume Faury offered a specific commitment: the A320neo fuselage panel quality issue would be “almost completely behind us” by the end of June, with production and deliveries resynchronized before the second half. That’s a clear target. It’s also an admission that five months after the problem first emerged, it is still actively suppressing deliveries.
