Here's the updated model. Notes: August saw many (relatively) A320neo delivereis. There were 202 A321 and 140 A320 deliveries YTD. The A321 is the most delivered aircraft YTD - one in four new deliveries this year has been an A321. The A220 saw 37 deliveries YTD, which is a surprise Orders were light - Wizz Air for 75 A321s was notable. As was Avolon firming 20 A330-900s. Airbus has interesting market reactions to their A330-900, A350-900, and A350-1000. The A330-900 is doing better than most were expecting. This aircraft has an excellent fuel burn and performs closely to the A350-900. The A350-900 has a longer range and higher payload. Delta operates a combination of these two and has the globe covered. The A350-1000 is in a class of its own until 777X EIS. It will be interesting to see what happens to these two when they compete. BA has opted for both, while Lufthansa and Air France/KLM have not. Rumors of Delta acquiring the A350-1000 remain unfulfilled.
