Lessor Avolon has confirmed a Memorandum of Understanding previously announced in June for twenty Airbus A330neo’s, with most of them believed to be for the larger A330-900. Avolon has also converted options on fifty A320neo’s into A321neo’s, it said on September 5.
The MoU was announced on the third day of the Paris Airshow and was not included in the total orders list of the event. The A330s will be delivered between 2025 and 2028. This is a year earlier than announced in Paris when deliveries were said to commence in 2026.
