UK leisure airline Jet2.com has exercised options on another 12 Airbus A320neo family aircraft to grow the fleet. The company announced the new in its HY1 results earnings reports for March through September.
The latest order brings Jet2’s firm commitment to 110 A320neo and A321neo aircraft. The airline announced an order for 63 A321neo’s in August 2021. The first aircraft was delivered in March, followed by another four until the end of October. Deliveries continue through 2029, with six A321neo’s scheduled for 2024. In October 2022, Jet2 placed an order for 35 A320neo’s, but these aircraft aren’t due until 2029 through 2031.
