As P&W’s new engine gets closer to its first flight on an airplane for which it was designed, industry experts are increasingly coming out with supportive voices. The naysayers are growing fewer. Even Airbus’ John Leahy is satisfied the GTF will meet P&W’s claims for fuel burn and maintenance.
