First, Happy New Year. Let’s hope 2026 is an improvement on 2025 in every way.
We have reviewed the overnight numbers and refined our daily production and delivery tracker.
Here’s the quick delivery summary:
- Airbus 784 deliveries and a revised target of 790 – we are impressed Airbus did so well. We didn’t think they would get this close. Kudos to the FAL teams.
- Boeing 595 deliveries and an analyst estimated target of 588. What a year for Boeing! Their recovery is in full swing, and Renton certainly looks like it has got its mojo back.
- COMAC 38 deliveries and a revised target of 50. That initial talk of 75 was fantasy in an era of political posturing.
- Embraer 70 deliveries with a target of 80. Holding firm to the number was a stretch but reasonable. Adding the KC-390 and business jets to the mix will make this the best year in the company’s history.
Overall, the duopoly did well given the supply chain challenges. COMAC disappointed, but we saw this coming early in the year – US sanctions played a significant role, and this disrupted their supply chain more than the other OEMs. Embraer did well given that it too faced supply chain issues and is heavily dependent on the Pratt & Whitney GTF.
