AeroMontreal is both a trade organization and think tank for the aerospace industry in Montreal, and has been particularly effective in serving the nearly 200 small and medium sized players in the aerospace market in Quebec, as well as the four major local OEMs, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Bell Helicopters, and CAE.
We spoke with Melanie Lussier, Vice President of Operations for AeroMontreal to gain additional insight on how this organization helps the industry, as well as discuss the innovation forum coming up on April 16th and 17th during Montreal’s International Aerospace Week.
The forthcoming aviation forum will center on Disruptive Technologies this year, including advanced manufacturing, 3D printed vehicles, Eco-technologies, Big Data for mobility, aerospace and space, one-demand autonomous mobility, and virtual design and testing.
