Building on a positive January, Asia Pacific (APAC) airlines continued to experience significant growth in international passenger and cargo traffic in February 2024, according to the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA).

Fueled by the Lunar New Year festivities, February saw a significant increase in leisure travel. APAC carriers carried 27 million international passengers in February 2024, a substantial 56.7% rise compared to February 2023.
