On September 5, 2023, Avianca Airlines announced important changes in its management team. Frederico Pedreira, who has served as the airline’s Chief Operating Officer since 2021, will now be the company’s Deputy CEO. He will now be in charge of several processes at the company, such as operations, human talent, technology, corporate communications, customer promise, and institutional relations.
