Boeing announced that it has acquired the German company Peters Software GmbH (“Peters Software”), specializing in curriculum and materials for commercial and private pilots operating in fast-growing markets in line with EASA. The firm is the market leading provider of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
This acquisition will allow Boeing Flight Services to provide training materials consistent with the standards set by the EASA, one of the main regulators of aviation worldwide.
According to forecasts from Boeing, airlines will need 558,000 new pilots over the next 20 years to support the growth of the world fleet. This acquisition will allow Boeing to meet the growing global demand for qualified aviation personnel.
