European regional carrier Luxair has placed 2 firm orders and 2 options for the Boeing 737 MAX 10, which would join its fleet of Dash-8, 737NG, and MAX aircraft.The carrier also has ordered the Embraer E2-195 as it updates its fleet for growth.This will be the third model in the MAX family on order from Luxair, which operates the MAX 8 and has ordered the MAX 7.
Luxair currently operates a regional fleet of 21 airplanes, including two leased 737-8s and eight Next-Generation 737s. Luxair has expanded its route network by 30% in the past two years, serving 94 destinations. The carrier plans to operate the aircraft in a high density seating configuration with up to 213 seats, giving the aircraft a range of 3,100 nautical miles.
