Canada’s Porter Airlines is growing its Embraer E195-E2 fleet. The airline has exercised purchase rights for 25 aircraft, which will bring the fleet to 75 aircraft when all have been delivered. This will make Porter the biggest E2 operator in the world. The carrier has another 25 purchase rights.
Deliveries of the latest order are set to begin in 2025. If the airline intends to conclude a sale and leaseback later on isn’t clear. It has done so with a number of the 24 E195-E2s that have been delivered in December 2022.
