Air France KLM reported strong 4th quarter 2024 earnings, with a results substantially better than market expectations.The airline group reached an operating profit of €390 million versus consensus expectations of €180 million, a very significant earnings beat.
The group reported an exceptionally strong 4th quarter, which mitigated a challenging 2024. Revenues in the 4th quarter were €7.9 billion, bringing full year revenues to €31.5 billion.Operating margin for 2024 was 5.1%, as operating revenues for the 4th quarter 2024 were €452 million higher than the prior year, in which a loss of €56 million was reported.For the full year, operating profits reached €1.6 billion, down slightly year-over-year.
