Boeing October 2023 Orders & Deliveries

Below is our updated model. This is a refresh from our previous version, and now follows the layout of our Airbus model so that the combined OEM tracking model.

Notes:

• 2023 is turning out to be a great year, and that’s before adding the big Dubai wins
• We will publish an analysis shortly on how Boeing

  reduces its production and customer risk.

  • See page 5 for an idea of Boeing’s customer risk.
• The big challenge for Boeing is not orders but deliveries, especially MAX deliveries.
• Within the delivery challenge is the missing MAX 10 – every month that goes by without FAA certification gives Airbus another boost.
  • As we noted, this boost over the past 34 months is already worth over $30Bn

So even as Boeing sees recovery and things look much better, the execution hurdle looms.
