Daher, which builds the TBM series of high-speed single-engine turboprops in Tarbes, France, and the Kodiak family of utility aircraft in Sand Point, Idaho, is opening a new second final assembly line for each in Stuart, Florida.
Strategy
The company has been pursuing a multi-national strategy, focusing on expanding in the United States, its largest aircraft market. It also has a stabilizing aerostructures business and manufactures parts and components for Airbus and Boeing. In 2022, Daher completed an acquisition of Triumph Aerospace’s metal aerostructures business and is expanding its operations at the Stuart, Florida, site that it acquired from Triumph.
