Porter Airlines is extending its award-winning service to destinations throughout North America with the introduction of up to 80 state-of-the-art, fuel-efficient Embraer E195-E2 aircraft into its fleet. (CNW Group/Porter Airlines)
Porter Airlines is well known to air travelers in the northeastern part of North America. That friendy Racoon always gets a smile. Just this week Porter made big news – it announced its restart port-Pandemic and also announced a big order for Embraer E195-E2s. This makes the airline the North American launch customer for this aircraft. Michael Deluce, the airline’s President & CEO had a conversation with us about their restart and the aircraft order.
Co-Founder AirInsight. My previous life includes stints at Shell South Africa, CIC Research, and PA Consulting. Got bitten by the aviation bug and ended up an Avgeek. Then the data bug got me, making me a curious Avgeek seeking data-driven logic. Also, I appreciate conversations with smart people from whom I learn so much. Summary: I am very fortunate to work with and converse with great people.
