It’s been about two months since our last call. During the interim, there has been a lot of Indian aviation news. We discuss the following items:
- Mega orders placed by India’s airlines at the Paris Air Show;
- Insolvency of Go Airlines (India) Limited;
- The implementation of the Cape Town Convention in India, with particular reference to the latest push from the government to pass the latest version of the Bill; this issue, has a huge impact on those big Paris orders for lessors.
- Competition Commission scrutiny of the Vistara – Air India merger.
