STARLUX orders Airbus A350F and A330neo

Taiwan's STARLUX Airlines ordered five Airbus A350F freighters and three more A330neo widebody aircraft at the Singapore Airshow, marking a strategic step for the Taiwanese carrier. Widebody Sweet Spot Indeed, the selection of the A330neo is significant, and it follows a similar deployment at Delta, which also has A350-900 and A330neo. The size and capabilities of the A330neo meet a wide range of operational needs. Just as the A330ceo did before. One must recall that the A330ceo sales accelerated once the 787 was delivered and then faced production hiccups after the battery fire. This size aircraft is the most in-demand in the widebody market. The Boeing equivalent is the 787-9, the best-selling model of the 787 family. The A330-900 and 787-9 are in the widebody sweet spot and offer solutions to operator tradeoffs between range, payload, and operating costs. We have looked into this competition before.
