The monthly transportation statistics have been updated.  Our model has been updated. As the chart shows the recovery accelerated in March 2021 but seemed to lose momentum from August. There was some growth through the end of the year, but not as vigorous as earlier in the year. December ended close to the 2017 volume – which goes to show what damage Covid did to air travel.  On the second page notice, the charts are indexed with Jan 2017 equal to 100.  US domestic traffic had largely recoverd but international remained considerably softer.

Co-Founder AirInsight. My previous life includes stints at Shell South Africa, CIC Research, and PA Consulting. Got bitten by the aviation bug and ended up an Avgeek. Then the data bug got me, making me a curious Avgeek seeking data-driven logic. Also, I appreciate conversations with smart people from whom I learn so much. Summary: I am very fortunate to work with and converse with great people.
