Nordic Aviation Capital, which specializes in regional aircraft, has signed an MOU with Airbus for 20 A220 family aircraft, including both A220-100 and A220-300 models. NAC’s current fleet of about 500 aircraft includes the ATR42, ATR72, Dash 8, CRJ900, CRJ1000, E170, E175, E190, and E195 will soon be joined by the A220.
The deal as executed by Martin Møller, NAC Chairman and Christian Scherer, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer.
With the NAC order and the AirLease deals this week, the order book for the A220 now stands at 606 aircraft.
