Embraer has over 250 Letters of Intent for the new turboprop aircraft, it said today at the Farnborough Airshow.
That’s before the 70 and 90 seaters have been launched, something likely to happen only in a year at the 2023 Paris Airshow.
We talked to President and CEO of Commercial Aircraft, Arjan Meijer, about the LoI’s and the turboprop.
This conversation came after two orders were announced at Farnborough: Alaska’s 8+13 E175s and Porter’s 20 E-195-E2s. Plus an MoU with Norwegian regional Wideroe to join the advisory group of the new Energia project, which will help Embraer shape the generation of small net-zero aircraft.
