EVIO’s Clean-Sheet Bet on Regional Aviation

Michael Derman is Chairman & CEO, EVIO.

EVIO is focused on a clean-sheet design and approach to regional airline service.  There’s a mix of new and established in their plan.  We had some thoughts when the program was announced recently.

Now we have a follow-up conversation with Michael about the project.  Being a startup, he is understandably careful with information.  That said, it’s great to have another attempt to fix what ails the regional air service market, operating with two decades-old technology. In contrast, the rest of the commercial aviation market can utilize state-of-the-art technology.  These pioneers should be cheered.
