The blended wing body (BWB) design is catching a lot of attention. There are two programs based on the US West Coast leading the effort to bring a BWB aircraft to market. One of these programs is led by Natilus in San Diego. The company has two programs it’s working on: a small turboprop-powered freighter and a larger 25o passenger model. The company has already attracted interest from airlines.
