Airbus reported its Q3 financial results, which are significantly up year over year due to supply chain constraints, which could impact meeting full year guidance.Nonetheless, the company was able to increase EBITDA to about 10% above street estimates, with EPS 5% ahead and free cash flow beating expectation by €165 million. The impact of tariffs in Q4 2025 will be in the €100-200 million range, with a reduction in R&D offsetting those new taxes.
Strong Financial Performance
Each of Airbus business units delivered EBITDA ahead of consensus, with Q3 EBITDA at 11.9%.The company expects Q4 to not be as strong, however, due to the aforementioned tariff impacts and the timing of R&D expenses.
