Gulfstream announced today that the Gulfstream G500 has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification, enabling registration and deliveries in any EU country.

The G500 has a range of 4,400 nautical miles at Mach 0.9 and 5,200 nm at Mach 0.85. The aircraft holds 35 city-pair speed records, including Geneva to Chicaho in 8 hours, Doha to Shannon in just over 7 hours 30 minutes, and Farnborough to Las Vegas in 10 hours 20 minutes.
