GECAS has ordered 60 A320neo aircraft, and has selected the LEAP engine from CFM International, a joint venture of GE and SNECMA, to power them. Â The choice of LEAP engines to power the aircraft is not unexpected, as GECAS by policy favors GE products over competitors.
