On the sidelines of the 2021 Dubai Airshow, AirInsight talks to three of the region’s low-cost airlines on the recovery from the Covid-crisis, the market situation, their strategy, and fleet plans. Today, we talk to Adel Al Ali, the CEO of Air Arabia. Despite the crisis, the airline has been profitable this year. It is on a long-term growth plan in the Gulf region, including that of subsidiary Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. It also has plans to help develop airlines in Armenia and Pakistan.
